Sonali Bendre’s Inspiration Is Manisha Koirala, a Cancer Survivor

Sonali Bendre Behl recently disclosed to the media that she was diagnosed with ‘high-grade cancer’. The actor then took to social media to announce that she’ll be undergoing treatment in New York and wishes have been pouring in from across the spectrum. One wish was from Manisha Koirala, a cancer survivor herself.

“Love you babe . . and trust me you will shine more once its all done . . more power to you sister!! We all are waiting for you here eagerly . .healthy and strong!!

In 2012, Manisha Koirala was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She battled the disease and went on to recover from it. She has been healthy since 5 years now. Koirala was recently seen on screen in Sanju and on Netflix’s anthology film Lust Stories.
