PM Modi & Bear Grylls Give Us a Peek Into the Man vs Wild Episode

We are all waiting to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming episode of popular British show Man vs Wild, hosted by renowned adventurer Bear Grylls. The episode will be aired on 12 August at 9 pm. Now, some interesting excerpts have been dropped, wherein we see the Prime Minister welcoming Bear Grylls to India.
The clip starts with Bear Grylls saying, “Today I am in India to shoot for a special episode of Man vs Wild with a very special guest - Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is the most beautiful and amazing country, but it has some of the most but dangerous wildlife”, Grylls adds.

We also get to see Modi’s views about the supposedly dangerous wildlife in our country. “If we try to enter into a conflict with the wild animals, then only it becomes dangerous. Otherwise, we shouldn’t consider it threatening”, he said.
Bear Grylls gives PM Modi an improvised version of a spear as a safeguard against potential attacks from tigers. To which PM Modi replies, “My upbringing does not allow me to kill someone. However, I will hold the spear since you insist!”
Narendra Modi also shed some light about the cleanliness of India. “Someone from outside cannot clean India, the people have to make their country clean. Personal hygiene is in the culture of the Indian people. We need to develop the habit of social hygiene. Mahatma Gandhi has done lot of work on it and recently we are getting good success in this. I believe India will succeed in this very soon.”
