Shah Rukh Khan on Falling Off the Forbes’ Wealthiest Celebs List

So how many members of the 2017 richest celebrities’ club fell off the list in 2018? Well, one of the most notable decline was that of the Zero star Shah Rukh Khan. Newly-wed actor Deepika Padukone broke into the top five on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list -- the first woman celebrity to find place in the top five -- with earnings of Rs 112.8 crore, placing her firmly at rank 4, thanks to the commercial success of Padmaavat, and her brand endorsements. Salman Khan topped the list for the third time in a row. Forbes ranked SRK at number 13 in the list, down from the second spot he occupied in 2017.

So what does Shah Rukh think of this fall? He is taking it in his stride since he believes ‘that’s the life of a star.’ This is why we love SRK’s candid streak and his sardonic sense of humour! He told Khaleej Times:

“In the last three-four days I have found out that I have fallen out of a magazine’s list of rich people. I’ve become dearer on Twitter and poorer according to the (Forbes) survey. I just hope with this film (Zero) I become nearer! So dearer, poorer and nearer in one day!”

In Dubai for the promotions of the Aanand L. Rai directorial, he extended his love for Dubaiwalon.
