Newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on Tuesday treated fans to a few glimpses of their wedding celebrations, which was held at the picturesque Lake Como in Italy last week. Sabyasachi, who designed most of the looks, clarified that he has not designed Deepika’s Konkani wedding outfit.

Sabyasachi has stated that as per Konkani traditions, the bride’s outfit is given by her mother, Ujjala Padukone.

Deepika and Ranveer followed all the traditional rituals and the couple was dressed in the traditional white-and-gold ensemble.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had two weddings at Lake Como, Italy on 14 and 15 November. On 14 November they tied the knot in the Chitrapur Saraswat-style as Deepika belongs to the Saraswat Brahmin community from Karnataka and her mother tongue is Konkani.

From haldi to mehendi and the wedding nuptials, Deepika and Ranveer, who kept their wedding images away from the public eye, finally took to social media on Tuesday to share some of their special moments.
