‘Deadpool 2’ Dubbing Offer Was Not One Ranveer Couldn’t Refuse

Ranveer would have been a rad choice for the Hindi dub of ‘Deadpool 2’.

Ranveer Singh turned down the offer to mouth Ryan Reynold’s lines in the Hindi dubbed version of ‘Deadpool 2’.

We hate to be bearer of bad news but your dreams of seeing Ranveer Singh as the Hindi Deadpool stand shattered even before their inception. You may have heard Tiger Shroff lending his voice to Spider Man and Varun Dhawan as Captain America but Ranveer Singh is not donning the superhero avatar, at least in the aural sense for now.

He turned down the offer to mouth Ryan Reynold’s lines for the Hindi dubbed version of Deadpool 2.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the film’s team was keen on hiring Ranveer for his flamboyant, playful mannerisms. But the ‘Simmba’ star had to let go of the opportunity due to prior commitments.

“Ranveer was extremely keen but he just couldn’t make time in his Gully Boy schedule as he is shooting at night every day.”

Deadpool 2, the sequel to the 2016 hit, Deadpool is slated to release on May 18, 2018.
