After the release of 'Shaitaan Ka Saala’, the latest song from Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar challenged fans to recreate his steps from the video in the #BalaChallenge. The video shows the actor as a demented bald king dancing alongside a group of women as he hails himself the Devil’s relative. The song samples Tony Montana’s 2013 track ‘Bala’.

With his over the top, zany attitude, the challenge seemed to be right up Ranveer Singh’s alley. The actor rose to the occasion at the film wrap party for 83 and tried out his version with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

Ayushmann Khurrana, whose upcoming film on premature balding is also titled Bala, also participated in the challenge earlier and posted a video of himself and his team performing to the song. He captioned it, “Bala ko pukara #Bala aa gaya! Best of luck @akshaykumar sir. Hum bhi jald aa rahe hain. (You called for Bala, Bala appeared. Our movie is also coming soon.”

Ranveer Singh recently finished shooting for his upcoming film 83. He was spotted having a blast at the party that Deepika Padukone threw for the cast and crew of the film. Ranveer plays former Indian skipper Kapil Dev in the film which is based on India’s historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.

Housefull 4 stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde. The film has been directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It releases on 25 October.
