Alia Bhatt’s best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor celebrated her birthday on Tuesday. Among the people who attended her birthday bash was Ranbir Kapoor. Photographs from the party have surfaced online, wherein we can see Alia and Ranbir having a great time.
Alia chose to keep her outfit simple, so she chose an elegant black dress. She paired it up with big hoops and tied her hair in a bun. On the other hand, Ranbir was dressed in casuals.
Akansha also took to Instagram to share a story about the grand party.
Earlier, there was another buzz in the industry. Now that veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has finally returned from New York after completing treatment for cancer, speculations were rife that Alia Bhatt, who is dating Rishi's son Ranbir Kapoor, is planning a grand homecoming party for him.
Rumours have been flying around ever since a newspaper report suggested Alia is keen to host a bash for Rishi at her dad/filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s residence.
Recently, Alia and Ranbir made news after they shared sun-kissed pics of their vacation in Kenya on Instagram.
On the acting front, Alia will next be seen in Brahmastra along with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is a sci-fi fantasy adventure and reportedly first of a three-film series.
