That’s the buzz. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may follow the footsteps of Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas to wed next year. The couple is eager to seal the deal and the Kapoor family has taken to Alia as well.
A close family friend of the Kapoors told Deccan Chronicle, “She (Alia) has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. The couple will wait until Rishi Kapoor’s recovery before discussing a date for marriage.”
Unlike erstwhile Kapoor bahus like Babita and Neetu Kapoor, Alia is of course keen on continuing her career after marriage.
