Radhika Apte Calls ‘The Wedding Guest’ Sex Scene Leak ‘Psychotic’
Radhika Apte and Dev Patel’s intimate scenes are being circulated online.
Recently, some intimate scenes of Radhika Apte and Dev Patel, from their Hollywood film, The Wedding Guest, went viral, with a video clip and a few pictures being circulated on the internet.
Radhika isn’t amused by this, and said in an interview to an online portal that she attributed it to “the psychotic mentality of the society”.
The Wedding Guest premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2018, and had a US release on 1 March this year. But these clips and pictures recently made their way to the internet.
Reacting to the leaked scenes, Radhika said, “The film has many other beautiful sequences and the fact that one particular sex scene got leaked because of the psychotic mentality of the society.”
“The leaked sex scene featured both Radhika Apte and Dev Patel in it. But the scenes are being spread in my name. Why are they not getting spread under the male actor Dev Patel’s name,” she added.
The Wedding Guest revolves around a mysterious British Muslim young man (Dev Patel) who takes a journey from Leicester to Pakistan to kidnap a young woman (Radhika Apte) who is forced to be married against her wishes.
This isn’t the first time that sex scenes from Radhika’s films have been leaked or gone viral on the internet. This had happened before the release of Parched when her scenes with Adil Hussain got leaked online. A nude video of the actor from director Anurag Kashyap’s short film in the anthology film, Madly, had also been leaked in 2016.
