Saif-Kareena to Priyanka-Nick; Here Are B’Town’s New Year Plans

As 2018 draws to a close, most Bollywood stars are heading out for a much-needed break to ring in the New Year before diving back into their projects come 2019. While we got to see a glimpse of Bollywood’s Christmas celebrations, from the annual Kapoor brunch to Salman Khan’s star-studded party, here’s where celebs like Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, Kajol and Ajay Devgn, Saif-Kareena and Alia-Ranbir are jetting off to usher in the New Year.
Island Escapes
Kajol and Ajay Devgn have chosen a tropical vacation in Thailand with kids Yug and Nysa. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have reportedly picked this location for the New Year as well.
Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor, sister Rhea and Anand Ahuja are seemingly a hop, skip and a jump away in the gorgeous island of Bali. According to reports, Siddharth Malhotra has some more adventurous plans — to go scuba diving in South-east Asia.
Namaste London
After spending time on a work assignment and celebrating Taimur’s birthday, Saif and Kareena were spotted at Mumbai airport purportedly on their way to London.
According to reports, Katrina Kaif has said that she plans to spend the New Year her sisters, which makes it likely that she’ll take a break from filming for Bharat with Salman and head to London for the close of 2018 as well.
Kat just might run into another B’Town star. Parineeti Chopra has been in London since Christmas time and is likely to return to India only in the first week of January.
Rajkummar Rao and Patrelekha have also allegedly made plans to spend time in the United Kingdom.
Swiss Getaway
After a four-day wedding and multiple receptions between Delhi and Mumbai, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will finally head to Switzerland for their honeymoon. Mid-day has quoted a source as saying, “PeeCee and Nick will take off for Switzerland by 28 December. Their week-long vacation will include a stopover at Montreux; the two plan to ring in the New Year in the resort town on Lake Geneva.”
New York, New York
With Rishi Kapoor on an extended stay in New York to receive medical treatment, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are likely head there to spend the New Year with him, Neetu Kapoor and family.
