Lucky Ali, the singer known for his soulful melodies in films like Sur and Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, recently got his fans into a frenzy when he posted a cryptic tweet about chemotherapy. “Dear Chemo therapy you should not be an option..ever...” read the message.

This led to all kinds of speculation about the Lucky’s health, especially in light of actor Sonali Bendre announcing that she is undergoing treatment for cancer. However, in a statement on Facebook, the singer clarified that he is fine and wanted to speak out against the practice of chemotherapy considering how many people are diagnosed with cancer.

While speaking to Times of India, Lucky added that he had lost a friend to cancer. He appears to advocate for holistic cures over chemotherapy, which is a controversial stance in the medical community.
