Lilly Singh Becomes Only Woman Late Night Talk Show Host on TV

YouTube star ||Superwoman||, aka Lilly Singh, will be the host of her own late night talk show titled A Little Late with Lilly Singh which will air on NBC. She will replace Last Call host and former MTV VJ Carson Daly, who is stepping down after 17 seasons. This makes Singh the only woman to currently host a late night show.

The Indian-Canadian influencer made the announcement on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

“I truly get to create a show from scratch. I get to make it inclusive, I get to create comedy segments, interview people and really create something that I believe in. And I’m so honoured and humbled,” Singh said. A Little Late with Lilly Singh will premiere in September.

One of the most successful YouTube stars, Lilly Singh has over 14 million subscribers on her channel, which she started in 2010. She is also the author of bestselling book How to be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life, and has appeared in films such as Dr Cabbie, Ice Age: Collision Course and Bad Moms.
