Comedian Krushna Abhishek says he was not allowed to share the stage with his uncle, actor Govinda, his wife Sunita and daughter Narmada during their recent appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. Sunita had reportedly requested the makers to ensure they did not appear together on screen.
There has been bad blood between Govinda and Sunita and Krushna and his wife Kashmera Shah since Sunita took offence at a tweet Shah posted about “people who dance for money”. According to Krushna, he and his uncle patched things up six months ago, but Sunita is still upset with him. He told Bombay Times,
Krushna clarified that Kashmera’s tweet, which was posted when Govinda and she appeared on Comedy Nights Bachao, wasn’t directed at her at all. “Time and again, I have tried to clarify that the post was for my sister Arti (Singh). I wish mama takes stock of things and we resolve our differences once and for all,” he said.
