After delivering the blockbuster Simmba, Rohit Shetty is gearing up for his next, Sooryavanshi. Speculations were rife that Pooja Hedge had joined the team, but Shetty had negated them all. Now, Katrina Kaif is all set to star opposite Akshay Kumar in the film.
As a pair, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar have been very popular with the fans. It is being speculated that Katrina Kaif will be playing Akshay’s wife in Sooryavanshi.

This is Katrina’s first collaboration with Rohit Shetty. Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar will be reuniting after nine years since their last film Tees Maar Khan. As the second spin-off of Rohit Shetty’s Singham, Sooryavanshi sees Akshay Kumar essay the role of deputy commissioner of police.
