Here’s How Kartik Reacted to Rumours of a Break up With Sara

The two allegedly began dating after meeting on the sets of Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film.

For a while now, speculation has been rife that Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan are a couple, though neither have confirmed or denied the rumours. The two actors have allegedly been dating after meeting on the sets of Imtiaz Ali’s sequel to his 2014 film Love Aaj Kal.

In October, Mumbai Mirror reported that the couple had called it quits after months of being together saying that their professional commitments were keeping them apart. According to Pinkvilla, when asked about their relationship at a promotional event, Kartik chose to sidestep the question saying,

“Do rotiyan Ananya ke sath tod li, toh sabne puch liya (I had dinner with Ananya once and everyone had something to say about it). I did an ad with Mr Bachchan and shared it on Instagram that it was on my bucket list, but no one asked me about it.”

Kartik Aaryan will be seen next in Pati, Patni Aur Woh, a remake of the 1978 BR Chopra film of the same name. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Juno Chopra and Abhay Chopra, it also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. The film has been receiving flak for its sexist and misogynistic undertones ever since the trailer released on 4 November. Pati, Patni Aur Woh releases on 6 December. Kartik has also been signed on opposite Kiara Advani in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
