Sara Ali Khan celebrated her birthday in Bangkok, shooting for Coolie No. 1, but she was in for a sweet surprise when Kartik Aaryan flew down from Mumbai to celebrate her special day.
Kartik took to Instagram to post an adorable picture with Sara on her birthday and captioned it, "Happy Birthday Princess @saraalikhan95 .And Eid Mubarak (this time without the mask )."
The two had recently wrapped up the shoot for their yet untitled film, directed by Imtiaz Ali. Sara had taken to Instagram to share an emotional message about the journey. She thanked Imtiaz Ali for making her dream come true and her co-star Kartik Aaryan for consistently looking out for her. “Thank you @kartikaaryan for instantly making me comfortable with you, for selflessly giving and for consistently looking out for me. From coffee's about you to chai's with you, I wish we could do it all over again. I'm going to miss you more than you know and more than I can admit," Sara wrote.
The cast and crew of the film had been shooting for 66 days in places across the country like Delhi, Udaipur, Mumbai and even Himachal Pradesh. It also stars Randeep Hooda.
The film is reportedly a sequel of the Saif Ali Khan-starrer Love Aaj Kal. However, there is no official confirmation of the same. Love Aaj Kal starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.
