Netflix series ‘Sacred Games’ and ‘Lust Stories’ have been nominated for this edition.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, Gully Boy director Zoya Akhtar, Radhika Apte and Kubbra Sait are in New York for the 47th International Emmy Awards. The winners will be announced at the International Emmy Awards Gala on 25 November. Netflix’s Sacred Games and Lust Stories are among the nominees for this edition.
The celebs have been sharing snapshots on Instagram as they prepare for the big night. Kubbra Sait, whose Netflix web series Sacred Games is nominated for Best Drama Series, posted a photo posing with the crew. Co-director and producer Vikramaditya Motwane can be seen wearing his nomination medal.
She also posted photos of her outfit for the night.
Vikramaditya Motwane’s wife Ishita also posted a few snapshots from NY.
Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar posted Instagram stories of themselves posing together in the hallway of their hotel. KJo chose a red suit with a black coat for the night and Zoya was in a black skirt and coat with a white shirt.
Radhika Apte had earlier posted a photo of herself posing with her nomination medal.
The actor has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress for Lust Stories. The Netflix anthology film, which featured episodes directed by Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar, is in the running for Best TV Movie/Mini Series.
