Kajal Aggarwal’s Fan Loses 60 Lakhs In a Bid to Meet the Actor

Would you shell out Rs 60 lakhs to meet your favourite actor? Well, according to reports, a die-hard fan of popular Tamil and Telugu actor Kajal Aggarwal did and didn’t even get the opportunity to come face to face with her. According to a report in India Today, a young man from Ramananthapuram in Tamil Nadu was eager to meet Kajal and came across a website that promised a meeting with the famous actor. When he reached out to the people behind the website, they asked to pay up Rs 50,000 as an advance for the meeting besides submission of his personal details.
The man, who belonged to a rich family, paid the money but the promised meeting with Kajal Aggarwal did not come through. On further enquiry, the gang demanded more money from him and threatened to leak obscene photographs of him on social media if he did not comply. Faced with this threat, the man confessed that he paid Rs 60 lakhs to the gang in three instalments.
Knowing that he had been cheated, the man left his house as he was under a lot of mental stress, he was later found in Kolkata by police officials. He narrated his story of being cheated by the fraudsters on being found. According to the report, the police have now taken a man named Saravanakumar who claims to be a producer based on the complaint made by the Kajal Aggarwal fan.
