‘Jab We Met’ Actor Kishore Pradhan Passes Away at 86

Veteran actor Kishore Pradhan passed away at the age of 86 on Friday, 11 January. He is known for his role in Hindi films like Jab We Met (2007) and Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006), along with other innumerable Marathi films. He also acted in more than 100 Marathi plays, and around 18 English plays.

The actor was known for his character roles. He was last seen in the Marathi film, Shubh Lagna Savdhaan.

His Shubh Lagna Savdhaan co-star, Subodh Bhave told Indian Express that he called him ‘Kishore Kaka’.

He said, “We worked together in Shubh Lagna Savdhaan, but after the film’s release, I couldn’t keep in touch with Kishore Kaka, as he was not keeping well, and I was out shooting for my film. I don’t know the exact reason of his death yet. His family is grieving and busy with preparations for his funeral.”

Famous Marathi writer and poet, Mr Chandrashekhar Gokhale took to social media to express his condolences.
