Actor Irrfan Khan has been away from work for the past two weeks. And the actor says it is due to a yet to be diagnosed illness. In a serious note on Twitter, the Hindi Medium actor disclosed that he might be suffering from a “rare disease”.

As he awaits further clarifications on his condition, he has requested the media, as well as his fans, to not speculate on this, and states that he himself will share information as soon as he is updated.

A spokesperson from Irrfan Khan’s team reached out to us and said that when the time is right, verified facts and information will be released.

Irrfan Khan will be seen onscreen in the upcoming Bollywood film, Blackमेल . The cast also includes Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall, and Gajraj Rao. The film is slated for release on 6 April 2018.
