Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that his assets will be divided equally between his son Abhishek Bachchan, 43, and daughter Shweta Bachchan, 45. His net worth is estimated to Rs 2800 crore.
The Bollywood superstar often shares his love for Shweta on social media, and has also served as ambassador for the government’s 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign. Now Amitabh has stated that Abhishek alone will not have the full authority to his property.
When asked about his will at a recent event, Amitabh revealed that his property will be divided equally between both his children. According to The Richest, Big B has a net worth of over $400 million or Rs 28,66,16,00,000.
On Shweta’s 45th birthday in March, Amitabh posted a throwback picture of Shweta as a child with her parents and wrote, “Happy birthday to the best daughter in the World .. how beautifully you have grown .. 💕”
When her debut novel Paradise Towers became a bestseller, Amitabh penned a heartfelt post for Shweta, saying, “Nothing brings greater pride to a father than this achievement of a daughter. Daughters are special. From this little 'ghunghat (veil)' to the 'best seller'.”
Along with the post, Amitabh also shared a childhood photo of Shweta in which she was seen carrying a red colour veil on her head.
Amitabh was last seen on the big screen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla along with Taapsee Pannu. He will next appear in the Telugu language period epic Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy. He is currently hosting the 11th season of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
