Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are all set to wed at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Rajasthan. After flagging off the celebrations with a pre-wedding puja at Priyanka’s home in Mumbai, the couple flew to Jodhpur on 29 November where their mehendi and sangeet are to take place.

While photos of PC, Nick and their respective families in the midst of travelling for their wedding have been surfacing, a report by DNA suggests that the couple might go the DeepVeer way and ban all cellphones at their wedding.

The staff will have to give up their own phones in exchange for basic ones, while guests will not be allowed to bring cellphones at all. Jammers have also allegedly been installed at the venue to block signals during the ceremonies.

Priyanka and Nick are rumoured to have sold the rights to their wedding photographs for $2.5 million (around Rs 18 crore), which is perhaps the reason they have such stringent measure in place to ensure no photos get leaked. This means we might have to wait before we get a glimpse of the big fat Nickyanka wedding, much like we did with DeepVeer.

The report also says that security around Umaid Bhawan Palace - the wedding venue - has been tightened. Most of the hotel staff have allegedly been sent on leave with only key members of the management, including the general manager, scheduled to work over the next five days alongside the couple’s personal event management and security teams.
