Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone who wooed everyone with her spectacular performance in Padmaavat in 2018 is going international in 2019. She will be featured on the latest Vogue US cover alongside Hollywood’s famous Scarlett Johansson and South Korean actor Bae Doona, most popularly known for her role in the American series Sense8. Scarlett Johansson has starred in countless films like Lost In Translation, The Avengers etc.

In the cover, which was released by PinkVilla on their Instagram page, you can see the three actors posing with an angel-like aura. Complete with beautiful headbands and floral summer dresses, the picture is absolutely mesmerising.

For their April issue, Vogue seems to be celebrating global talent by adding to the ongoing conversation about inclusivity and diversity in the media industry. By featuring two Asian actors alongside an American actor, Vogue is making an important statement.

Recently, Deepika Padukone and husband Ranveer Singh were spotted at the Mumbai International Airport. Ranveer was reportedly leaving for London to shoot for the film 83 which revolves around the Indian cricket team’s first World Cup win in 1983. The couple tied the knot in November 2018.
