Sridevi Was My Love, My Friend, Mother to My Girls: Boney Kapoor
Boney Kapoor also thanked Arjun and Anshula Kapoor for beings strong pillars of strength during these times.
Boney Kapoor, through the late Sridevi’s Twitter account, has said, “To the world, she was their Chandni... but to me she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls, my partner. To our daughters, she was their everything...their life”.
Boney thanked his children from his first wife, Arjun and Anshula for their support during this period. In the statement, the filmmaker also said that, “If you need to talk of Sri, let it be of the special memories that connect each of you to her”.
He also requested all to allow the family to grieve privately.
“My only concern at this time is to protect my daughters and find a way to move forward without Sri. She was our life, our strength and the reason we smiled. We love her beyond measure,” he said in the statement.
“Our lives will never be the same again,” ended Boney’s note.
