Stars Cheer for Their Beloveds With #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga

In the age of social media, finding innovative ways to market your film for netizens is an essential part of a film’s publicity. Anil-Sonam Kapoor’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which releases on 1 February, is no different.

Anil Kapoor started a Twitter trend #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga, inviting Bollywood celebs, specifically co-star Rajkummar Rao, nephew Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan and Riteish Deshmukh, to share photos with the special women in their lives. Anil Kapoor posted a picture of himself with his wife Sunita, calling her his "lifeline, my heart, my home!"

Arjun Kapoor responded with a throwback picture from when he and cousin Sonam Kapoor were babies. Calling Sonam the “first ladki” in his life, he wrote,“@sonamkapoor from the time I remember u will always be the first ladki in my life that I loved hanging out with... so proud of u & @anilskapoor for going out on a limb & choosing a script u believed in beyond the perceptions of the so called world.”
