Bhagyashree’s Husband Granted Bail In Gambling Racket
He was arrested in connection with the gambling racket on 2 July.
Maine Pyar Kiya actor Bhagyashree’s husband Himalaya Dasani has been granted bail by a local court after being arrested in connection with a gambling racket. The actor-turned-film producer was arrested from his residence in Mumbai on Tuesday, 2 July, said an official from Amboli police station. Dasani was produced before a local court which granted bail to him.
"Amboli Police had recently busted a gambling racket, in which Dasani's involvement had come to light as his name cropped up during the interrogation of arrested accused," the official told PTI.
Dasani had made his debut with Payal in 1992. He is now a producer and a businessman. His son Abhimanyu Dasani made his Bollywood debut in Vasan Bala’s 2018 superhero film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. He plays a character with a congenital insensitivity to pain who goes on a quest to meet his idol Karate Mani. The film also stars Radhika Madan, Mahesh Manjrekar and Gulshan Devaiah.
