Dream Girl! Ayushmann Poses with Fan in Sari Who Crashed his Party
The fan was paying tribute to Ayushmann’s character in ‘Dream Girl.’
On Wednesday night 21 August, Article 15 star Ayushmann Khurrana made a fan’s day by clicking pictures with him, even though the fan had attempted to gate crash Ayushmann’s party wearing a sari to ape his character in Dream Girl.
Ayushmann had thrown a success bash for winning Best Actor for his 2018 hit AndhaDhun at the 66th National Film Awards. AndhaDhun also won Best Feature Film in Hindi as well as Best Screenplay. Badhaai Ho, also starring Ayushmann, won Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Clearly the actor had plenty reason to celebrate.
However, the night risked turning sour when a die-hard of Ayushmann’s crashed the party and stormed right in. The fan was “wearing” a yellow sari with a red border and had draped the pallu over his head just like Ayushmann’s character does in his upcoming movie Dream Girl.
Ayushmann, being the gentleman he is, not only calmly escorted the fan out but also took a selfie with him. Take a look.

Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It also stars Nushrat Bharucha, Manjot Singh, Annu Kapoor and Vijay Raaz. The comedy is set to hit theatres on 13 September.
