Big B Writes a Note of Appreciation for Badhaai Ho’s Neena Gupta
Big B was impressed by Neena Gupta’s performance in ‘Badhaai Ho’.
Amitabh Bachchan does not fail to send handwritten notes to actors or artists from the industry when their work floors him. The latest recipient of such a letter was Neena Gupta, who played the role of a middle-aged pregnant woman in Badhaai Ho.
Gupta took to Instagram to post a picture of the letter in Devnagri script.
Big B admired her acting skills and the restraint in her performance.
‘Aapse ye patr aur pushp pa ke ankhen khushi se bhar aaeen, thank u so much,’ she wrote, expressing how overwhelmed she felt and how her eyes welled up after receiving the note and the flowers from the veteran actor.
The film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office earlier this month. The film entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club on its seventeenth day after the release.
