Ashvin Kumar’s No Fathers in Kashmir, that directly takes us to a love story in the heart of Kashmir has, has been receiving plenty of positive responses on the internet. Even Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, whose mother Soni Razdan stars in the film, took a moment to applaud the brilliance of No Fathers in Kashmir. On Twitter, the Kalank actor reviewed the film in a concise but heartening way.

“A beautiful love story, both brave and moving. #NoFathersInKashmir is a story so relevant for our times. A must watch. Mama how amazing are you Soni Razdan, you make me soooo proud, Ashvin Kumar lots of love to you and the entire team!!”, she wrote.

Soni Razdan’s husband, Mahesh Bhatt too applauded the “pain and passion” in No Fathers in Kashmir. He also took to Twitter to express himself, “Kashmir as seen through the eyes of two 16 year olds is a Kashmir we have never seen before. Pain and passion unravel before us along with a love story that will shadow you long after it’s over.”

Filmmaker and step-daughter Pooja Bhatt too praised the film for its unadulterated depiction of the subject. A poignant tale of love and loss, No Fathers in Kashmir features a talented star cast including Ashvin Kumar, Soni Razdan, Anshuman Jha and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. It is directed by Oscar nominated director Ashvin Kumar.
