Alia, Sonam & Bollywood Celebs Shower Katrina With B’day Wishes
The actor brought in her birthday on 16 July.
Several Bollywood celebs have wished Katrina Kaif who celebrated her birthday on 16 July. Alia Bhatt posted a sweet message for Kat on her Instagram story that read: “Happiest Birthday dearest Katy!!! May you laugh and dance all day.. shine and smile all year and give us body goals your whole life.” She also shared a picture of the two which was taken at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday celebrations in Alibaug a couple of years ago.
Rumours of a falling out between Katrina and Alia were sparked when Alia began seeing Kat’s ex-beau Ranbir Singh last year. However, both actors have maintained that their friendship remains unchanged. “When I thought about it, I just felt, who she was dating was not to the equation that I share with her. So why should that equation change?,” she told Filmfare. Katrina and Alia were part of the same social circle, which included Ayan Mukerji. Their friendship grew over time as the two began training with the same fitness coach Yasmin Karachiwala.
Varun Dhawan, Sonam Kapoor, Farah Khan and Madhuri Dixit also took to social media to wish Katrina for her birthday.
Katrina brought in her birthday with a beach vacation in Mexico. She was last seen opposite Salman Khan in Bharat, where she played a government official named Kumud. She has been signed on for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop drama Sooryavanshi which reunites her with her Tees Maar Khan co-star Akshay Kumar after nine years. The film is set to release on 27 March 2020.
