Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan launched Manjeet Hirani’s How to be a Human - Life Lessons by Buddy Hirani at a bookstore on 5 March in Bandra, Mumbai.

Manjeet, who is also the wife of Rajkumar Hirani, spoke about her muse. Manjeet elaborated on how her dog Buddy changed her life ever since he arrived at their door one day. Every chapter of the book is about how Buddy inspires Rajkumar and his family to live their day-to-day life. The book also talks about how a dog in the house can alter one’s perspective on life and change the way one experiences life. Her book is beautifully illustrated for dog-lovers.

While talking about his love for pets, Aamir Khan reminisced about his childhood and interspersed it with tales of his present pets.

“Since childhood I have loved dogs and have been very close to them. My dogs name is Emili and I also have a cat named Milli. Dogs are much better than human beings as they are not at all judgmental. Kiran gets irritated with me as she loves Emili but Emili follows me and gives less attention to Kiran.”
