The First Look Poster of Varun Dhawan’s ‘October’ Is Here
Varun Dhawan’s bearded, sombre look in ‘October’ seems like a win.
The first teaser of Shoojit Sircar’s slice-of-life love story, October starring Varun Dhawan and newbie, Banita Sandhu was out on Valentines’ Day. The first look poster of the film slated to release on April 13 was unveiled on social media by Taran Adarsh.
Written by Piku and Vicky Donor fame, Juhi Chaturvedi, the teaser and the poster seem to promise a lyrical film. The visuals of the teaser exuding a soft glow and an air of melancholy live up to the film’s claim of the ‘unusual take on love’.
Varun Dhawan looks unconventionally beguiling in the poster. A leading daily had reported that Varun was asked to not sleep for an entire week, to be able to look a certain way for his character in the film and he seems to have nailed that intense look.
October and Sui Dhaaga suggest that Dhawan seems to be intent on picking up roles that unleash the ‘actor’ in him after his many excursions as a ‘star’.
The trailer of the film is set to be out on 12 March.
