Yash Raj Films has finalised the female lead for their next film starring Ranveer Singh, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Shalini Pandey, who made her debut with Telugu film Arjun Reddy will be starring opposite Ranveer. YRF announced the same on Twitter and wrote, “#ShaliniPandey is @RanveerOfficial’s heroine in YRF’s #JayeshbhaiJordaar!”

Virat and Anushka’s wedding anniversary wishes to each other are all things beautiful. 

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot on 11 December 2017, in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. As they celebrate their second anniversary today, Anushka and Virat posted pictures from their wedding day with captions that will melt your heart.

It's a guide , a propeller, a path to the absolute truth. And I am blessed , truly , wholly blessed, to have found it,” wrote Anushka along with a monochrome picture of the two.

3. Dilip Kumar Says Thank You for ‘Boundless Love’ at 97

Dilip Kumar celebrated his 97th birthday on 12 December.

As veteran actor Dilip Kumar turns a year older, he took to social media to thank everyone for their love and blessings. He tweeted a photo of himself with the caption, “On this 97th birthday, calls and messages have been pouring in since last night-thank you! Celebrations are not important- your boundless love, affection and prayers have always brought tears of gratitude in my eyes.”

4. Identity as Human Has Been Massacred: Adil Hussain on CAB

Adil Hussain has condemned the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) which was passed by the Lok Sabha on Monday, 9 December. In a series of tweets, the Life of Pi actor, who hails from Assam, called the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and CAB a fight that nobody will win, and said that the bills have "massacred” our “fundamental identity as humans”. “In all the chaos of the NRC and CAB, I am most concerned and deeply saddened that the fundamental identity of ours as human is massacred. In this fight, nobody will win. Everybody will lose. The greatest loss of our times will be humanity itself,” he tweeted.

5. Scenes Deleted From ‘Panipat’ After Protests From Jat Groups

Amid protests by Jat groups, the producers of Ashutosh Gowariker's historical drama Panipat have reportedly agreed to edit out the portion of the film. “The film distributor has communicated to us that the film producers would be editing certain portion of the film,” additional chief secretary (home) Rajeeva Swarup told PTI.

PTI has quoted a source close to the makers as saying, “We have deleted the scenes related to Maharaja Surajmal. Also, we have got the censor certificate with 11 minutes less length.”

On Monday, 9 December, several theatres in Jaipur stopped the screening of Panipat due to growing protests by Jat groups. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon, and released on 6 December.
