Sushant to Romance Sanjana In ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Remake
This won’t be Sanjana Sanghi’s Bollywood debut though.
Sushant Singh Rajput has finally got a leading lady for his remake of the Hollywood hit, Fault In Our Stars. The film, based on John Green’s bestseller by the same name will be remade in Hindi by the film industry’s popular casting director Mukesh Chhabra. While Sushant plays the role Ansel Elgort did in the original, Sanjana will reprise Shailene Woodley’s part. Fox Star Studios who will be producing the Hindi version, tweeted the announcement on Monday morning.
Sanjana’s a Delhi Girl
So, what do we know about the new girl Sanjana Sanghi? Well, Sanjana is a Delhi-girl who did her schooling at Modern School in the capital and later graduated from Lady Shri Ram College at Delhi University. And the Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer won’t be Sanjana’s Bollywood debut.
She Was a Part of Rockstar
Mukesh Chhabra had auditioned and selected a 14-year-old Sanjana to play a small role in the Imtiaz Ali film Rockstar with Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri back in 2011.
Sanjana Was In Fukrey Returns Too
Sanjana also had a small part in the sequel to Fukrey last year.
She’s also a Model
The 20-year-old also has been a popular model, having featured in quite a few TV commercials.
Looks like Sanjana is all set for a long innings in Bollywood.
