After Four Long Years, Prabhas Sounds Tired of Playing Baahubali

Superstar Prabhas tells Rajeev Masand why he’s tired of playing SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’.

In an exclusive interview to Rajeev Masand, Baahubali star Prabhas confessed that after having spent four years with the same character, something he’s never done before, he’s itching to do something new.

After playing the big lead in India’s biggest film Baahubali: The Beginning and now its sequel Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the actor feels that fatigue might have set in because there was no break. But he also says that both films were once in a lifetime opportunity and even though he’s tired, he wonders if he’ll get to play Baahubali again.

Last one month, I think a lot of us felt like now it’s enough. I felt like I want to do something else now, after four years. Because I’ve never been doing the same film for four years, in one character, in between I didn’t do any other films. I have seen a lot of people are tired, yes, the movie is finally going to end. There’s so much of hard work but while it’s finishing, again I’m feeling like the film is done. I can never be a part of <i>Baahubali </i>again in future. This is <i>Baahubali,</i> once in a lifetime film and now I’m getting that feeling that this is going to be it.
