After much controversy, the trailer for Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 is finally out. The film follows the real-life story of Anand Kumar as he struggles to set up a Super 30 institute for children who can’t afford education. Hrithik Roshan plays the character of Anand Kumar. He flaunts a Bihari accent in the film.

Earlier, the Kaabil actor had shared a small teaser in which we can see Hrithik Roshan facing a room full of children.

Hrithik also released a new still from the film. Standing against a classroom blackboard with chalk scribbles on it, Hrithik Roshan’s character sports unkept hair, a beard, and plain clothes.

Kya banna chahte ho? Rikki ya Bholu? Super 30 ke vidhyalay mein shaamil hone ke liye taiyaar ho? Milte hain ek baje. (Who do you want to become? Rikki or Bholu? Are you ready to be admitted to the school of Super 30? Let’s meet at 1 pm)“, he wrote as the caption.

Super 30 is inspired from the real life story of mathematics wizard Anand Kumar who coaches and guides 30 talented candidates, who belong to economically backward sections of the society, every year for the much sought-after Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) entrance examination. Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Anand Kumar and flaunts the look of a simpleton from Bihar.

There has been much controversy surrounding the release of Super 30. After its director, Vikas Bahl, was accused of sexual harassment in the #MeToo movement, he was expected to be ousted from the film. However, new posters of the film were recently released with Vikas Bahl getting Director’s credit.

Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment, recently said in a statement, “It is that the internal complaints committee report has exonerated Vikas Bahl. With ICC clearing Vikas Bahl's name, we don't have a choice but to reinstate his credit as director of Super 30.” Reliance Entertainment has 50 percent stake in Phantom Films.

Super 30 will release on 12 July.
