‘Street Dancer 3D’, ‘Bala’, ‘Pagalpanti’ Get New Release Dates
There’s plenty to forward to in the coming months.
Bollywood fans will have to wait a little longer for Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming dance film Street Dancer 3D. The Remo D’souza directorial will now hit theatres on 24 January 2020, two months later than its original release date of 8 November. The makers announced the news with a new poster featuring Varun Dhawan waving an Indian flag.
The second schedule of shooting for the film is underway in Dubai.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala finally has a release date of 22 November. The film has been directed by Amar Kaushik (who helmed 2018 horror comedy Stree) and produced by Dinesh Vijan. It also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam.
Anees Bazmee’s Pagalpanti, has been preponed and will now hit theatres on 22 November rather than 6 December, which was originally planned. The comedy features an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Kharbanda, Urvashi Rautela and Saurabh Shukla.
Director Anurag Basu’s upcoming film is yet to be titled but has a confirmed release date of 24 January 2020. Though details have been kept under wraps so far, it will reportedly be an anthology of darkly comic slice-of-life-stories and stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi.
