The two Indian cinema stars that were prominently seen with Nolan during his India visit to advocate the use of celluloid for film-making in the digital age, were Shah Rukh Khan and Kamal Hasaan. Khan and Hasaan met during one of the events then and took a trip down memory lane. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Kamal Hasaan has confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan has bagged the remake of rights of Hey Ram written, directed and produced by Kamal Haasan.

“Shah Rukh only got a wristwatch for acting in my film at the time because by the end of it, I had nothing left in hand. Now, he is the brand ambassador for a watch brand. I am glad that he got the Hindi rights of Hey Ram from Bharat bhai (co-producer Bharat Shah). He should have some memory of the film as he gave his friendship and service for it.”

SRK is currently busy filming for Aanand L Rai's Zero.
