The Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Haseena Parkar’ just dropped its teaser, and there seems to be no trace of Kapoor’s bubbly laughter and doe eyes – signature to many of her previous projects.
Kapoor essays the role of Haseena Parkar, gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s sister and a feared crime lord herself.
The first few seconds of the teaser has no sign of Kapoor, and we’re left wondering where this is going.
But a boisterous voice in the background sets the stage for Haseena – known by her brother’s name, feared because of her brother’s name and even prosecuted because of her brother’s name, but powerful in her own right.
When Kapoor finally appears on screen, she’s shown sitting strong and invincible on an armchair, and the transformation will take you by surprise.
Kapoor’s get up sure packs some punches, but let’s hope her acting chops do too.
