Here’s What Sanjay Leela Bhansali Is Working on Next

Bhansali will not delve into history in his next film.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next could be a love story, free of historical suggestions.

After the stressful, intense and unintentionally provocative Padmavati, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to unwind with a film about an innocent love that transcends time and history.

Titled as Hamari Jaan Ho Tum  the film is about two very young people, who marry and then discover love, only to be torn asunder by tragedy.

Interestingly the film was to be made, at one time, with Alia Bhatt and Aditya Narayan in the lead roles.

“Alia and Aditya were very young when they auditioned for Hamari Jaan Ho Tum. In fact we still remember the audition vividly. Alia was a star even at that age. Sadly the film didn’t materialise at that time. Sanjay got busy with other projects. But now he wants  to make something completely free of historical suggestions. Hamari Jaan Ho Tum will be a bit of a stress-buster.”

The film will feature two newcomers in the lead roles.
