Box-Office: Sanjay Dutt’s Comeback Film ‘Bhoomi’ Mints Rs 2.25 Cr

Sanjay Dutt’s revenge drama, Bhoomi did not open to rave reviews by the critics but the film has managed to rake in Rs. 2.25 crore at the box-office on its first day.

Bhoomi has reportedly been released across the country in 2000 screens.

Omung Kumar directorial also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and is facing competition at the box-office with Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Haseena Parkar and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Newton, as well as, Hollywood release, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Bhoomi is a revenge drama, which is centered around a father-daughter relationship.

It seems Sanjay Dutt fans are impressed with the film, despite negative reviews.
