13 years after portraying Munna Bhai and Circuit in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi are reuniting for a new project. The film will be helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala and Farhad Samji and is expected to go on floors by March or April next year. Sanjay will reportedly play a blind don who relies on Arshad to guide him while never giving his secret away.

Arshad confirmed the news in an interview with Bombay Times, saying, “Sanju and I will start working on a film next year. It’s a crazy script, a project by Sajid-Farhad. The film is likely to go on floor by March-April next year. We’ll probably head to Budapest for the first schedule of the film.”

“Sanju plays the role of a blind don and I am his eyes. The challenge is that nobody can know that he is blind, and I cannot tell anyone that he is blind. I am actually directing him throughout the film. It’s quite a fun script.”
Arshad Warsi, Actor

Arshad Warsi features opposite John Abraham in Anees Bazmee’s Pagalpanti. The film, which releases on 22 November, also stars Anil Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Urvashi Rautela, Kriti Kharbanda and Ileana D’Cruz.

In the meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing Afghan king Ahmad Shah Abdali in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s period drama Panipat. The film is based on the Third Battle of Panipat, which was fought between the Marathas and the Afghans in 1761, and stars an ensemble cast of Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Mohnish Bahl and Padmini Kolhapure. It hits theatres on 6 December.
