Salman to Launch Mahesh Manjrekar’s Daughter Ashwami in Bollywood

Salman plans to introduce Mahesh’s son Satya as well.

Race 3 star Salman Khan has launched many young actors including most recently his own brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. The latest newcomer to receive Salman Khan’s Midas touch will be Selection Day actor Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Ashwami. Salman had also announced plans to introduce Mahesh’s son Satya earlier.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Manjrekar has said, “Yes, Salman is launching my daughter. It will happen in some time. We’ll cross the bridge when we get to it.”

Mahesh and Salman had decided to come together for the remake of the Marathi film Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho. Mahesh would have directed the film and Salman would produce it. The film is currently on hold.

Manjrekar remarked on the project, “For the lead, Salman wanted Govinda, who had apprehensions about the role, so things didn’t work out... We will make it in the future as this subject is close to my heart. I honestly think our education system sucks.”
