Remo D’souza’s Dancing Dad starring Salman Khan seems to have hit a roadblock. Apparently, the superstar is not convinced about the film and whether it’ll be a good career choice, and has reportedly asked the director-choreographer to put the idea on hold.

Salman was not happy with the idea of playing a dad who must learn dancing to please his young daughter. He feels the role doesn’t suit his age. Salman has already burnt his fingers with trying to play a character much younger than his actual age in Tubelight. Every effort was made to convince Salman. But he remained unsure of looking credible as a dancing dad. He felt the role was more suited to Varun Dhawan, or one of the other younger heroes.
According to a source

As things stand, Dancing Dad is on the back-burner for now. But not all is bad for Remo. Salman seems to be going ahead with Race 3 produced by Ramesh Taurani, and apparently he’s given his nod on the condition that Remo will helm the thriller.
