Bharat star Salman has reportedly banned all mobile phones from the sets of his upcoming film Dabangg 3 to avoid anything from the plot or the looks of the characters to leak. Salman is stepping back into the shoes of Chulbul Pandey after 7 years and wants his audience to have a completely unspoiled experience.

Dabangg 3 has been shooting for a few weeks now. Salman and others have been sharing behind the scenes photos for the fans, but it seems like we won’t be seeing anymore for a while. The main reason for the ban is reportedly Saiee Manjrekar, Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter who is set to make her acting debut with the sequel.

Saiee is playing Chulbul’s love interest from his college days and the makers are taking every precaution to keep her look in Dabangg 3 a secret.

A source told Times of India that Saiee has even been asked not to go out into public places so that no one can snap her. According to the report, Salman wants to officially reveal her look in the film on his social media.

“There is a no phone rule on the sets during shoot. Since there are a lot of cast and crew members from the film on set at any given time the effort is to ensure that no one is secretly taking photos of Saiee and trying to leak them out.”

Saiee has already shot her portions of the film, which includes a song with Salman. She will be seen romancing a much younger Salman in flashback sequences, which are said to be a major part of the plot and chart Chulbul’s origin story. Sonakshi Sinha is reprising her role as Chulbul’s wife Rajjo in the present day.

Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudeva and also stars Arbaaz Khan and Sudeep. The film will be released on Christmas this year.
