John Abraham Turns Wartime Spy in ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ Trailer
The film hits theatres on 5 April.
The trailer to spy thriller Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW) has been released. The opening lines “We’re on verge of a war with Pakistan” seem especially weighty considering the recent Pulwama terrorist attacks and Balakot air strikes, but the film is set in 1971. John Abraham is recruited by a Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer, played by Jackie Shroff, and goes undercover in Pakistan where he infiltrates the army while several try to unveil his true identity.

Romeo Akbar Walter is written and directed by Robbie Grewal and is produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia and Gary Grewal. The film also stars Sikander Kher, Mouni Roy and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi. It releases on 5 April.
