‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ Teaser: John Abraham Is a Versatile Spy
Patriotism has a new look.
Actor John Abraham has shared the first teaser of his upcoming film Romeo Akbar Walter on Twitter and also revealed the release date. “As we celebrate our nation's 70th Republic Day, let's remember those who have lived and died to protect our freedom. Presenting the teaser of 'Romeo Akbar Walter'. #RAW based on the true story of a patriot in cinemas on April 12th. Jai Hind! ” he tweeted.
The quite impressive teaser shows John Abraham in the garbs of Romeo, Akbar and Walter as he goes about the bloody job of protecting his county even as the iconic “Ae Watan” song plays out in the background. Check it out here:
Here’s the first look of the film.
The film is directed by Robbie Grewal who earlier directed the Sushmita Sen thriller Samay. Romeo Akbar Walter was originally set to star Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead but the actor left the film in 2017. John signed up in his place in 2018.
Romeo Akbar Walter also stars Jackie Shroff, Mouni Roy and Sikander Kher. The film is set to release on 12 April.
