Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ to Cost Rs 100 Crore?

The superpower film might be Karan Johar’s most expensive production yet.

Yes, you read that right. Buzz is producer Karan Johar is going all out to bring the best to the table for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. He is gearing up to invest as much as Rs 100 crore in the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt film - an unprecedented figure for Dharma Productions.

A source shared with DNA that KJo is willing to give the superpower film - the first of a trilogy - his all.

Karan plans to go big with <em>Brahmastra</em>. He has asked the team not to worry about the budget. KJo understands that a superhero film needs a mounting of a certain stature. The approximate budget of the film is expected to be over Rs 100 crore, which also means that Brahmastra will be KJo’s biggest film till date, budget wise. Previously, he had planned to make Shuddhi on a scale like this but it didn’t work out.
