Professionally and Emotionally Great: Anil on Working With Madhuri

Anil and Madhuri are reuniting in ‘Total Dhamaal’ after 19 years.

Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit are reuniting after 19 years in Indra Kumar’s Total Dhamaal. The upcoming comedy also stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi in an ensemble cast. The trailer of the film was launched on Monday, 21 January.

Anil is delighted to be a part of the cast and share the frame with Madhuri. Anil and Madhuri were considered one of the hottest on-screen jodis of the 90s. Total Dhamaal is the third entry in the Dhamaal series and the first time Anil and Madhuri are joining the franchise.

When asked about the experience of working with Madhuri again, Anil had this to say.

“We have had a phenomenal association. To be back together is not only professionally great but also emotionally.”

Total Dhamaal also sees Anil and Madhuri working again with their Beta director Indra Kumar. That 1992 film was a huge critical and commercial blockbuster with it’s music still memorable to this day,

“More than anything else, it was wonderful working on this set with Indu ji and everyone else. When the director and the producer are so good, everything else is good. There was no moment in the film which had a hiccup,”
