Prasoon Joshi Posts Moving Poem on Lost Childhood for Ryan Student
Joshi posted the poem on Facebook with a short message against child abuse.
“Kuch nahin, bahut kuch ghalat hai,” writes lyricist and newly appointed Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Chief Prasoon Joshi in his moving poem about lost childhood.
Joshi had originally penned the poem in 2014 for the children of Army Public School, Peshawar, who had lost their lives in the massacre. He reposted the poem on Facebook in reference to the recent case of a Class 2 student of Ryan International School, Gurugram, being murdered.
Pradyumn Thakur was found with his throat slit in the school washroom on 8 September. A bus conductor confessed to the killing and the school administration has faced serious flak over security lapse.
Previously, actress Renuka Shahane had expressed shock and dismay regarding the case and had appealed to both parents and school administrations to strive to make schools safer for children.
